Welcome to Cherrington Place, a gated community of 63 single family homes, all with a first floor master suite and laundry. Because homeowners possess both the home and land, they are responsible for the upkeep of both, thereby keeping association fees low.
The Cherrington Place Homeowners Association (CPHOA) provides lawn mowing and trimming, snow removal, and maintenance of the common areas including roads, retention pond, entrance gate and more.
The first Cherrington Place homes were built in 1998 and the community was completed in 2001. All property owners are members of the Cherrington Place Homeowners Association which is overseen by a five member Board of Trustees. The HOA employs management company Towne Properties which receives homeowner inquiries, reports issues to the Board, collects monthly dues, pays invoices, prepares monthly financial reports and works with contractors to maintain the development.
Cherrington Place has a sound financial foundation based on reserve studies and continuous monitoring of property conditions. Routine maintenance is paid for from the operating account whenever possible and monies are annually deposited into a reserve fund for long-term maintenance projects. The entire road system, for example, was completely rebuilt in 2018 and paid for with funds from the reserve account.
By maintaining the home exteriors and landscaping to CPHOA architectural standards, Cherrington Place homeowners demonstrate their pride in our community.
